India must learn from EU on right to be forgotten

In her latest column for The Daily Pioneer, our Fellow Aishwarya Giridhar argues that any case dealing with the right to be forgotten will necessarily be subjective and depend on the individuals making the decisions in each case, whether that is a statutorily appointed Adjudicating Officer or a team at Google. It will also always involve balancing the right to privacy with the right to free speech and the larger public interest.
