Esya Centre’s First Publication: “Contemporary Culture and IP: Establishing the Conceptual Framework”
Esya Centre’s first publication on “Contemporary Culture and IP: Establishing the Conceptual Framework” was introduced at FICCI Frames 2019 in Mumbai. This paper is meant to be the foundational report in our ‘Culture and IP’ series, which will include a range of explorative monographs on a wide range of topics relevant to digital culture, and at the intersection of intellectual property laws and digital technologies.
This foundational report aims to understand what digital culture is, who the key stakeholders are, and the incentives that drive them. It also outlines some key economic and legal trends for the future.
